The Project Speed Box SE II electronically regulates a fixed and constant speed when fitted to turntables such as the Project range; the Project Speed Box SE II features electronic speed settings for 33 and 45 rpm and a pitch control to increase or decrease the playback speed by 0.1 rpm. The large front panel display shows the exact speed of the turntable, allowing pin-point fine tuning. The Project Speed Box SE II’s robust all metal casework is designed to eliminate vibration and electromagnetic interference and high precision quartz generated electronic speed regulation ensures the ultimate listening pleasure. Project Phono box SE II caters for both moving magnet and moving coil cartridges with equal ease. It’s internal circuitry is more sophisticated than it’s smaller non-SE brother, whilst the outboard power supply is of much higher quality, resulting in better sound quality. Battery operation can be selected which can yield greater sound quality still. With it’s dual mono circuitry and low noise IC’s this is a superior phono stage for those who take their vinyl replay seriously. The SE version not only includes quartz-generated and electronically regulated 33 1/3 and 45 rpm switching, but also provides the ability to fine-tune speed precisely. A digital readout displays the selected speed. 78s are also accommodated with Pro-Ject turntables, using the accessory pulley.
