This has really been an exceptionally good deck, it has the mount for an Origin Live or Rega arm but SAM can make mounts for mote or less anything and they really are a helpful company. This deck has been modified by adding the Origin Live Advanced Speed Control Box with the DC100 motor, all new recently. This gave the turntable a big lift as it is such a better motor. The original motor and housing will be supplied with the deck as well as the DC100 is in a new housing. Very easy to set up but make the gap between the motor housing and the deck more than recommended, trust me its better. Because of Brexit you now have to pay import duty a VAT to get one of these decks so please take that in to account. As this is very heavy I would prefer collection but it can be sent with a courier but obviously quite expensive due to the size and weight. ARM AND CARTRIDGE NOT INCLUDED. This is the tall pulley version which fits most belt driven turntables, a 15 minute fit to a Thorens TD150 or Linn LP12, it can also be fitted to a plethora of other turntables. Before purchasing please check on the Origin Live website that this is suitable for your turntable, there is a lot of information on the website regarding what is required for each type of turntable, for most it is a drop in replacement but some may require additional parts or the short pulley. The RB300 and AT VM750SH are both a massive upgrade, VM750SH not initially included but can be negotiated for a price. Along with the structural upgrade and rewire you would have to spend a substantial amount more for a better sounding TT. Demo welcome upon collection, hesitant to be posted but this can be arranged completely at buyers risk. The tonearm can be dismounted for travel purposes. I have another couple of TT’s but fancy a change that’s all. If it doesn’t sell I won’t be too fussed. It’s an awesome TT and the grass may not be greener (so they say).
