Well this retro boat is a bit special, not least of all by the fact its running a CMB 45 motor, very powerful and a lovely bit of engineering. So to be totally honest that’s all I know apart from it floats well and goes like stink. In fact it is so fast I was banned from using it on the river ouse in Cambridge as they thought if it hit a cabin cruiser it would go in one side and come out the other. It is a beautifully strong boat the finer glass hull is so thick its not true. It comes with controller (a proper boat one not the car one in the pictures), starter two different tuned pipes and some spares as seen in the pictures, in short everything needed to get you going. The motor has wonderful compression and looks so good with the gold head. There may be some little jobs to do that I have forgotten, it comes with a metal servo, I was going to replace the steering servo, this is brand new, I had started to replace the steering mechanism as it is a really long winded one that goes right round the boat and I wanted it more direct so you can cement a post in and go with the new version or just re-hook up the old one to use straight away. It was last raced about 10 years ago so something may need doing but its been stored well so you will be delighted i’m sure. Collection only or your courier, im afraid as its so large and heavy. I have now added post, however for world wide post I don’t think I can get the wooden box/stand in, I will take it apart and see if I can when the time comes so it might just fit in.
