This has really been an exceptionally good deck, it has the mount for an Origin Live or Rega arm but SAM can make mounts for mote or less anything and they really are a helpful company. This deck has been modified by adding the Origin Live Advanced Speed Control Box with the DC100 motor, all new recently. This gave the turntable a big lift as it is such a better motor. The original motor and housing will be supplied with the deck as well as the DC100 is in a new housing. Very easy to set up but make the gap between the motor housing and the deck more than recommended, trust me its better. Because of Brexit you now have to pay import duty a VAT to get one of these decks so please take that in to account. As this is very heavy I would prefer collection but it can be sent with a courier but obviously quite expensive due to the size and weight. ARM AND CARTRIDGE NOT INCLUDED. Direct Coupling Verus introduces a simple and effective drive methodology we call Direct Coupling. Direct Coupling utilizes a large diameter pulley, a large surface area square o-ring and gravity to directly couple the motor to the platter eliminating the degradations introduced by belts and idler wheels. This simple and direct approach in combination with the micro precise speed from the Certus inspired multiphase synchronous motor results in a quantum leap in speed stability compared to traditional belt drive systems. Along with rock solid speed stability the Verus motors micro-precise speed eliminates smearing and distortions that are not typically attributed to motor or drive issues.
