XeRun AXE 540 – FOC V1.1 System Combo with 2300kv Motor. FOC (Field-oriented Control) for Super Linearity & High Torque & Extreme Silence New sensor technology has changed the feel, performance, and overall tune-ability of the new Axe ESC and Motor in ways some have never experienced. Field-oriented Control is the name of this new tech, and is something all new to the scale trail, rock racing, and rc world in-general. This new style of sensor allows extremely accurate control and sensing of the motor while maintaining extreme performance and reliability. The motor and ESC are able to match RPM of the motor to the throttle position under all driving conditions. This greatly improves down hil driving giving this system the ability to drive down hill under complete control. FOC technology also makes the whole system extremely silent, the motor doesn’t creat the annoying PWM noice when it is running. High Driving Efficiency for Long Runtime Extremely efficient design comes from the combination of new methods. The FOC technology provides significant improvements to overall motor performance when compared to standard BLDC (Brushless Direct Current) setups. Runtime is increased dramatically while maintaining exceptional levels of power and response. Intelligent Torque Output & Closed-loop Speed Control for Easy Control Not just a new ESC and motor, the new FOC tech, combined with intelligent torque output and closed loop speed control mean the ESC and motor will maintain the motors Torque level and RPM as the vehicles conditions change. Uphill, downhill, under load, you name it, your AXE system will do what youre telling it to do. Patented Staggered Pole Rotor Design for Ultra-low Torque Ripple The new AXE motor not only has a new sensor design, but compared to other rock crawler design motors uses an improved staggered pole rotor design. What does this mean? Smoother operation with no cogging, and very clean and consistent deceleration. Smoother brakes, smoother power, and transitions between each are improved. This is specific to trail and rock crawling and allows extremely precise throttle control under any load conditions. Built-in High-precision Magnetic Encoder A high precision magnetic encoder is first used in this RC motor to ensure precise and consistent signal is provided to the ESC. This allows the ESC to get much more accurate information from the motor (for example, the precision of the rotor position signal has been improved by 60 times) than standard Hall sensors and provides improved performance and efficiency.
