Emco Unimat 3 lathe with an upgraded DC24v Motor with speed controller. No duty time on motor. The 4 jaw chuck does not have a chuck key the turned down bolt requires a 4mm square on the end and a hole for a tommy bar. A new speed controller has been fitted. Please study photos for wear tear. 150W Motor upgrade kit for Emco Unimat lathes and similar mini lathes. Running straight out of the box. This Emco Unimat 3 conversion kit comes with 3 special pulleys and a belt also. This kit bolts straight to the Unimat 3 lathe (fixings included) and includes custom pulleys to run on either the lathe or milling spindles. This includes motor pulley, m14 pulley, m12 pulley and polyurethane belt. The lathe gives around 0-3750rpm while the milling pulleys give around 0-5000rpm. The kit includes a control knob and enclosure to control the lathe speed. This can be easily bolted or screwed to any surface. With this upgrade my Emco Unimat 3 will. Now easily take 2.5mm diameter off. A piece of 1 Aluminum, several times better than the stock motor. This combined with full speed control significantly. Apologies something wrong with the size of the pictures.. With expensive Rejon type 200w DC continuous rated motor & speed controller conversion. Variable speed with maximum torque throughout the speed range. (This replaces the standard vintage 90 watt intermittent use motor). Original motor bracket and idler pulley retained. Nice condition from retired owner. Faceplate & drive dog. Fixed steady (small crack in one clamp, but still works fine). Cleaned , serviced and supplied with spare new headstock bearings and thrust washers. And fitted with new stainless bolts throughout. Ready to start work.
